A CRM the agents could actually run

Sales ops wanted their agents writing notes, searching history, and spinning up custom queries without fighting a rigid CRM schema.

Agents read and write the same memory humans do.

The miss

The team already had a CRM. The agents ignored it. Contacts lived in fields nobody trusted, notes got pasted into Slack, and every 'AI assistant' demo died the moment it needed real context. They didn't need another dashboard. They needed memory the agents would actually use.

What we did

  1. 01

We sat in their Slack for a week and watched how deals actually moved. Spoiler: it wasn't through the CRM.

  2. 02

Instead of forcing agents into rows and columns, we flipped it. Contacts, companies, and deals became portable markdown memories an agent could write, search, and query in plain language.

  3. 03

When someone needed structured data, the system cached a custom API on demand instead of making people design schemas up front.

What shipped

  • MCP and REST surface so agents and humans hit the same data
  • Markdown-backed records that stay readable without a UI
  • No-login share links for any filtered view
  • Natural-language query that turns into reusable endpoints

After

The ops team stopped maintaining a second brain in Slack. Agents started leaving notes where people could find them. New automations stopped needing a custom integration every time.
